It's Just a Fancy Headband: Successfully Incorporating Tiaras into Your Wardrobe

This summer I've been watching VH1's series, "You're Cut Off!" This show puts a group of women that have the same spending habits and diva attitudes as the children on "My Super Sweet 16" in a house. The ultimate goal is to help them realize how blessed they are, and for them to become more independent and less reliant on their parents and significant others.

Though the show wrapped last week, one of the cast members that will be forever remembered in Reality TV Land is Texan Southern Belle, Erica. She will mostly be remembered for her "Teairicas", plastic tiaras that she carried with her to the "You're Cut Off!" house and shared graciously with the other cast members.

On the show, Erica wore a tiara almost everyday. It didn't matter whether or not she was wearing jeans or a cocktail dress. This got me thinking, "If Erica can incorporate a tiara into her daily wardrobe, why can't I?" Okay, I wouldn't wear one everyday or else I'd get the major side eye everywhere I go. My friends and I decided that a tiara is just a fancy headband, so you can wear it on fancy occasions, or not so fancy occasions.

What retailers sell tiaras?

Try a smaller tiara like the Dulcinea Silvertone Tiara from Target.com

Or try a larger tiara like the Rosalia Tiara also from Target.com

Whether you're wearing it to your birthday party or to movie night at your friends house, any time is the perfect time for a tiara!
